Services

Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. We offer a wide range of veterinary services to keep your companions feeling their best:

Preventative Healthcare: We provide vaccines customized to your pet's lifestyle after conducting a thorough risk assessment. Our goal is to ensure your pet is protected against diseases he/she is likely to encounter. We also provide complete parasite prevention based on the Companion Animal Parasite Council's recommendations. Heartworm testing and preventative protocols based on the American Heartworm Society's recommendations for both cats and dogs.

Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services:
We are equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.  Services include fecal analysis, bloodwork, blood pressure testing, allergy testing, cytology, urinalysis, and screening for liver, kidney and thyroid disorders.

Opthamology Services: We can diagnose and treat most ocular diseases including corneal ulcers, conjunctivitis, dry eye, and glaucoma.

Laboratory:
Our laboratory services include serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.

Permanent identification: We offer microchip identification.

Individualized Flea and Tick Control Programs:  We develop programs for the specific needs of your pet and your own particular environmental situation. We will review with you the best ways to control fleas in your house, in your yard and on your pet.

Internal medicine consults: We offer referrals to an internal medicine specialist who performs ultrasounds, endoscopic procedures and helps us with the diagnosis of more complicated cases.

Electrocardiography Services:  We provide ECG services and echocardiogram consultations with cardiology specialists.

Surgical Services, Anesthesia, Radiology, Dentistry:
We refer to local clinics that we trust to provide these services. We can provide follow up care at your home, including suture removals, rechecks, and bandage changes.

Euthanasia and Cremation: We offer at home Euthanasia for your pet's comfort and your peace of mind. The decision to euthanize is a difficult one, and we want to provide a caring, comforting environment for your pet and your family. Your pet can be cremated, and you may choose to keep the ashes. Our goal is to make sure every pet is treated with dignity and respect.
